A Business Newsletter that WORKS for Teachers

I’ve been a teacher, writer, trainer, and publisher. But, for most of my life I’ve been a businessman wrapped around one or more of the preceding.

My business now, as it has been for the last couple of decades (I know… yikes!) is helping teachers integrate technology in the classroom.

But, this post has nothing to do with that.

In fact, this post is about a small piece of advice for teachers, and it’s this:

Get out of your comfort zone from time to time and learn from the masters in other fields.

Specifically, when it comes to business, I think you can no better than subscribing to a quirky, funny, irreverent little publication (and, yup, of course it’s free) called Trizle.

Even though their musings are about business, most of them relate directly to teachers’ lives. In fact, here’s one about failure that you might check out to start you on what may just become a mild Trizle addition.

Yeah! OMG! High fives, everyone. (That’s Trizle speak, so I just wanted to prepare you a bit.)

Fun… and good stuff, check ‘em out.

Fine print: We have zero connection with the Trizle folks, other than just loving them to pieces!

I have to agree with Michael...Trizle is a great, great, great newsletter/blog. Warning tho: some of the language is strong (occassionally). Would NOT pull up the site with students around. It's great for personal development...and a good laugh!
