Submitted by Elizabeth on Thu, 02/04/2010 - 11:04amIt never ceases to amaze me how many new tech tools are shared throughout Personal Learning Networks (PLN). We had another great day via Twitter for #web20wednesday - and I'm excited to share! So, let's jump into it.
Straight from FETC 2010: EdTech Resources you need!
Submitted by Elizabeth on Thu, 01/14/2010 - 9:30am
Well, I have to say day 1 of the FETC conference was a blast! It was great to finally get down there, attend some sessions, meet some awesome people, and find some great resources. The first session we attended was the Brown Bag Shootout – where three speakers (Leslie Fisher, John Kuglin, and Hall Davidson) all spilled their favorite edtech resources – exactly what I like to hear!
Start the New Year With These Tech Tools
Submitted by Elizabeth on Thu, 01/07/2010 - 12:00pmHappy New Year, everyone! Hope you’ve enjoyed your holidays and are ready to start the New Year with some awesome tech tools!
Holiday break might be coming up, but you’ll need these tech tools in January!
Submitted by Elizabeth on Thu, 12/17/2009 - 11:06amThe first #web20wednesday tech tool I'm lovin' is ClassTools. ClassTools allows you to create free educational games, activities, and diagrams - easily! You can then host them on your own personal blog, website or intranet! And guess what? (This is the part I really love) It's free!
Tech tools, holiday activities, and more!
Submitted by Elizabeth on Thu, 12/10/2009 - 10:51amI think most of us have heard about sites like GoAnimate for creating cartoons, however, sometimes you may just want the old school comic strip! @Bwasson has given us a few great sites for this, Make Beliefs Comix and Toonlet.
Animation, Math, Mindmapping...Oh My!
Submitted by Elizabeth on Thu, 12/03/2009 - 10:27amMany of you, including us, have websites – classroom blogs, personal blogs, resource pages, etc…and if you’re anything like me, I stare so long at the computer that sometimes the easiest words get spelled incorrectly and it just slips right on by. This site, Spellr.us, allows you to just type in your website URL and it CHECKS THE SPELLING FOR YOU! How awesome is that! There is a free trial so definitely check that one out – hey, we’re all busy during the day...who wouldn’t want to make life a little bit easier?

TechTools you can't live without

I am absolutely IN LOVE with Big Huge Labs. Thanks to @wmchamberlain’s tweet, I was introduced to one of the most entertaining and FUN way to use photos! Now, I’ve used other alternatives such as BeFunky but it definitely wasn’t as intriguing and EASY to use as Big Huge Labs.

Our first resource suggested was Diigo. With Diigo, you can organize and bookmark online links, make notes, highlight and add sticky notes. Then, build your PLN by sharing your pages, finding others with the same interest and sharing. You can even create groups (private or public) and share your findings to the group.
