Parent-Student Questions: A List of Reflective Questions

Here's a list of reflective parent-student questions

Looking for parent-student questions you can share with parents? I found a great list of them on Twitter. I watch social media closely and it's my job to share some of the hot topics on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and other outlets that teachers, principals, students, and parents are contributing.

Teachers, do you want to encourage parents to get involved in their children's education? Have you had parents ask you how they can get more involved? Then these parent-students questions, shared on Jeromie Heath‘s Twitter, might do the trick. These questions focus on a few different areas. One area is asking about something new that the student learned. You can ask them about a specific subject,  to teach you something, or ask them something they learned that will prove useful later on in life. Another area the questions focus on is self-improvement, both academically and in all other ways. Questions ask about mistakes and how the student plans to fix them, a success they had, how they plan on improving a skill they're not good at, what skill they are focusing on mastering, and what struggles they overcame. You can see the full list of questions below.

What questions would you suggest parents ask? Do you think teachers can ask students these questions too? In what context? Do you have any questions you share with parents? Please share them here.
