now that npt is finally being caught and banned...
im noticing that they are binding up 2 parties to do the npt now.. smarter about it, w/ 8 ppl killing 8 others over and over, but never the same person more than 3 x in a row... are you guys going to be able to catch this sort of npt through logs?
these guys are also only doing it up to about 15k each then they leave for the day and new ones arrive. i've noticed it was quieter in cz for a few days after the bans were announced, but it has picked back up w/ this new scheme...

Because it all has to be done by hand, having the GMs then go back into the game and spam a closing announcement as well would be a waste of their time. Besides, a ten or fifteen minute event is a pretty large window of opportunity and it should be fairly difficult to miss unless you put off participating.

Further, our tech guy and database specialist are rebuilding our GM Tools and designing a whole new method of working the trade logs which should make handling item investigations far quicker and easier. All that, along with a few other proposed changes to account behavior monitoring that I'm not allowed to discuss, may eventually lead to the return of full restorations rather than just the use of Restoration Packages.

Same as it's always been: ban 'em. NPT has gotten so bad as of late that it's warranted the elevation of the punishment to full account termination of the offenders and we're still developing further means to detect, track, and automatically punish NPT in the near future. One of the good things about having all the GM tools rebuilt from the ground up is that it makes it easier to get new and improved functions added in. I'm still campaigning to get stricter punishments for NPT that will impact the entire clan, so we'll see how that turns out. Results pending.

It would be unwise to avoid putting in new content simply on the fear that it might be exploited or abused. If that were the case, then there would never be any updates. If cheaters find a way to exploit the new features, then we'll just trouble shoot them and send the reports to the developers to have them fixed like we always do.

We have been enforcing a stricter effort at getting bugs fixed. Right now there are 66 bugs that the developers are working on repairing as top-priority matters. The bugs are mostly quests, though there are a handful of general game play bugs included as well.

I understand that a lot of people are unhappy about the situation k2/g1 has with third party users. That being said, after going off to college for my programing major, I understand, now more than ever, just how difficult it is on your end to deal with not only the exploiters but also the content of the game itself.

is there a keyboard hot key to zoom in and zoom out when playing knight online? i know the scroll bar on a mouse allows you to zoom in and out but i was wondering if there was a way to do it on the keybaord tyvm
