This Week's Edtech Tools: #Web20Wednesday Recap 02/04/10

It never ceases to amaze me how many new tech tools are shared throughout Personal Learning Networks (PLN). We had another great day via Twitter for #web20wednesday - and I'm excited to share! So, let's jump into it.

Howard (@socratech) shared a new tool (to me) for video editing - JayCut. If you check out the demo on their site, it sort of has an iMovie feel to it and it's really easy! You can add videos, images, audio, transitions, effects, and more! Be sure to check out JayCut today, and thanks to Howard for sharing!

One of my favorite things included in magazines and newspapers are crossword puzzles! This free Online Puzzle Maker helps you easily make crossword puzzles! Fun! There are premade puzzles for any occasion, all you have to do is customize it. Not only are there crossword puzzles available, there are also word search puzzles available! Tamra (@tamralanning) shared a great list of education virtual tours - from Italy, to Toledo, to anything you can think of! Big thanks to Tamra for sharing this great resource... find it here.

Karen (@kdmiller4) and Melinda (@melinm) share some great DoInk presentation on Cell Division -- don't miss that one!

The next thing I wanted to share with you all is actually a blog post from Ashley (@aaallain) where she discusses "Integrating Medieval History, Simple Machines, and Web 2.0." There are some great ideas here for anyone looking to cover those topics in the future. Thanks, Ashley!

Some other great toosl shared are:

See you next week!
