Of all the iPad apps for teachers, which ones are worth your while?
There are thousands of free iPad apps for teachers out there, but finding the perfect ones for you and your classroom or school can be tough.
We’ve spent hundreds of hours searching for the best-of-the- best, free iPad apps for teachers, and we’ve presented on this topic in dozens (perhaps more than 100 now) of sessions, both live and virtually via our webinars at SimpleK12’s Teacher Learning Community. We’ve also asked our 20+ presenters in the iPad category for their recommendations and go-to iPad apps for teachers recommendations.
Now, ask any app-using educator what her favorite apps are, and you’ll likely get a different answer from each teacher, but we’re going to share our favorites anyway in this video recording, which is normally reserved only for full-paying Teacher Learning Community members.
The video covers a multitude of free iPad apps for professional development, cross-curricular activities, and every area of the core curriculum.
Just a few of Ms. Maldonado’s favorite iPad apps fall into the following categories:
- Digital storytelling
- Formative assessment
- Grading calculator
- Panoramic photography
- Scientific calculator
- Language arts
- Note taking
If you want to go beyond these iPad apps and this video, I encourage you to dive into SimpleK12’s Teacher Learning Community and its over 150 videos on iPads and mobile learning.
