The Ultimate Teacher Checklist for an EdTech Classroom

With all of the changes edtech brings, it's easy to get overwhelmed and lost sometimes. There's where this handy teacher checklist I found on Twitter can save you some time and spare you a headache. I watch social media closely and it's my job to share some of the hot topics on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and other outlets that teachers, principals, students, and parents are contributing.

The “Checklist for Today's Teachers” infographic includes ten things every modern teacher should include in their teaching regiment. Many of the points revolve around how to incorporate technology into the classroom and staying connected with fellow educators and students. I found this check list thanks to Dr. Anael Alston, who posted it on his personal Twitter account. The infographic was created by Sylvia Duckworth.

Edtech can be overwhelming, especially for teachers used to doing things more traditionally, but it's becoming an essential part to the modern education system. Instead of getting overwhelmed, just check out this list. It boils down the massive world of edtech into ten simple points. If you hit all of these marks, then you're on the right track. If you're missing one or two, then you can use this list as a place to start narrowing down weak areas in your teaching regiment.

If you'd like to find some excellent edtech tools, then follow this link. Want to know the history of edtech in the classroom? Then check this out.

How do you incorporate any of the 10 points listed above in the classroom? Do you struggle with anything mentioned on the teacher checklist infographic? If so, what? How did you, or do you, plan to overcome it?
