Session Description:
Keeping students engaged at the end of the school year can seem like a monumental task – especially once you are finished with high-stakes testing. Join Michelle Dragalin as she shares a variety of strategies (that do not involve projects or worksheets) to end the school year in a way that is both meaningful for students and manageable for teachers. You will also have access to a lesson plan template that will have you and your students sailing through the final days of school and into the summer break.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify ten ways to end the school year that are both meaningful for students and manageable for teachers.
- Create an end-of-the-year lesson plan that will engage students for the remainder of the school year.
Assessment: Participants will create an end-of-the-year lesson plan to demonstrate their understanding of the session objectives and reflect on their learning.
