Description

Many acts of school violence by students are planned and there are changes in behavior that are often observed in advance by other students. Join Brent Maguire as he discusses how schools can help recognize, assess, and deal with potential safety threats. As part of this discussion, Brent will cover six principles of threat assessment, along with basic threat assessment steps that schools should take. He will also discuss how to form a threat assessment team within your school and who should be involved on that team.
