Workshop description: How many times have you thought, “There is not enough time in the school day. I wish I could clone myself!” With blended learning, cloning yourself is possible! Join Dr. Jayme Linton to learn how to leverage blended learning to clone yourself and maximize learning opportunities for your students.

Presented by Dr. Jayme Linton

Dr. Jayme Linton is an education projects specialist for the U.S. Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA). She lives near Washington, D.C. and supports strategic planning, continuous improvement, and professional learning for DoDEA schools worldwide. Previously, Jayme served as a leadership coach, an assistant professor, instructional technology facilitator, and instructional coach.

Objectives

  • Explore combinations of teaching strategies and technologies that maximize instructional time for learners.

Special Technology Instructions

Participants will need access to an internet device and a non-school, personal Google account. SimpleK12’s Google Classroom will be utilized for the interactive and hands-on components of this workshop.

Assessment

Participants will create or locate a resource to use for a cloned lesson to demonstrate their understanding of the workshop objective and reflect on their learning.
