Description

Responding to an emergency can be an overwhelming responsibility for anyone, especially if they have never been certified in First Aid or CPR. In this webinar, John Roche will provide insights into the principles behind handling a first aid scenario, cover how to prepare for emergencies, and discuss some of the common injures that you might encounter at home, school, or work. You never know when an emergency may strike, but being prepared can make all the difference. Although not required, you may also want to view the companion webinar in this series, “First Aid in the Classroom” to learn about specific ways in which educators can control their classrooms during an emergency and strategies for handling the effects of trauma. NOTE: This training is non-certified.
