Building positive and meaningful relationships with students is a foundational element of effective teaching and learning. Join Dr. Courtney Teague for this time-saving, to the point session as we explore the importance of building relationships with students and practical approaches to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. Through interactive discussions and real-life scenarios, you will also develop the skills and confidence needed to establish strong connections with your students, leading to improved academic performance and overall well-being. 

Learning Objectives:  

  • Recognize the impact of positive student-teacher relationships on academic achievement, student behavior, and overall classroom dynamics. 
  • Discover strategies for creating a welcoming and inclusive classroom where all students feel valued, respected, and safe.
