Google Docs is an online word processor system — it's a powerful free app that you and your students can use to create, share, edit, and collaborate on documents, reports, and written assignments. An alternative to Microsoft Word or Apple Pages, Google Docs is increasing in popularity in schools. If you've used other word processors in the past, many of Google's formatting options will be familiar to you.
