These Maya Angelou quotes will reinforce a growth mind set.

In honor of Black History Month, I decided to share some Maya Angelou quotes that reinforce the growth mindset. I watch social media closely and it's my job to share some of the hot topics on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and other outlets that teachers, principals, students, and parents are contributing.

Bevin Reinen posted a few quotes from African American Author Maya Angelou that reinforce the growth mindset. Maya Angelou is an author, actress, poet, and civil rights activist. Some of her most famous works include I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings and Just Give Me a Cool Drink of Water ‘fore I Diiie, for which she was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize. With as much writing as she has done, it's no wonder there are some amazing quotes inside her work. Below are three different quotes that reinforce a growth mindset and are which are perfect to share with your students during Black History Month (or any month!).
