Comics offer a wide range of opportunities for English Learners because they are engaging and encourage them to explore vocabulary, summarize information, and contextualize information they have learned in a creative way. Join Shelly Terrell as she shares how to use free, education-friendly comic creation tools to inspire student creativity, including scaffolds, supports, and strategies to help students complete their projects. Participants will also have an opportunity to access done-for-you templates to create their own comics project that they can immediately use with their students.
