Engagement involves many tangible and intangible dimensions, challenging educators to meet the individual needs and motivations of students. Join Matt Bergman as he shares strategies for increasing engagement in the classroom by focusing on the learning environment, developing essential self-regulation skills, and infusing choice, rigor, and relevance into learning. Participants will also develop a toolbox of high-tech and low-tech tools for increasing student engagement. Special emphasis will be placed on applying the UDL principle “Multiple Means of Engagement.”
