Frequent checks for understanding provide teachers with the opportunity to improve student learning outcomes based on their responses throughout the teaching and learning process. Join Naomi Harm for this hands-on, interactive workshop as she shares strategies for educator questioning that will spark meaningful conversations to assess students' depth of knowledge throughout the "Her-Story Global Collaboration Project." In addition, Naomi will share a wealth of added resources that focus on women in STEM leadership that will enrich the learning experience and provide opportunities for future coursework. Participants will also receive a copy of Naomi's list of creative assessments and reflection questions to check for student understanding that can be modified for any grade level or subject area.
